September
- 9th
- Open Evening.
- After the summer break we gather together for the first meeting of the new season. This is a lighthearted session with members exchanging holiday experiences and illustrating them with a few slides. Visitors are very welcome and every effort is made to make them feel at home.
- 16th
- Royal Photographic Society (R.P.S.) Colour Group Exhibition.
- Members Digital Images.
- This is another lighthearted session. The RPS colour slides and prints are shown as a Powerpoint presentation using a digital projector, any time remaining is used by members to show some of their digital work from the summer break.
- 23th
- "Doing The Lambeth Walk."
- Maggie Tear. L.R.P.S. C.P.A.G.B.
- Maggie and Ron Tear are among our favourite Judges, this time however she will be entertaining us with a talk.
- 30th
- Workshop.
- The club is not in a position to run regular classes but we do provide Workshops on various subjects throughout the year, The topics covered will be announced the week beforehand.

- 7th
- Slide and Digital Competitions, No.1
- The judge for this event is Liz Hatten
- Competitions in projected images and prints are a popular feature of club activities. Tonight sees the first of our projected competitions. There are two sections in this competition, slides and projected digital images. This year the two will be marked separately by an outside judge and scores will be out of 10 for each image. After three such competitions over the year the marks are aggregated and trophies are awarded to the winners of each section.

- Showing the best images from the East Anglian Federation of Photographic Clubs.

- Due to my inability to distingush between interesting and boring holiday snaps I ended up with far too many images for one evening. The first talk only covered U.S.A, Canada, Mexico, Guatamala and Belize. This section will continue the journey through South America, including the Galapagos and Easter Islands. Will we get as far as New Zealand though?

- The chairman attempts to keep us interested for an evening. Last year the Chairman cheated and got someone else in to do the job for her! I Wonder what she has in store this year?

- Club Dinner and Prize Giving
- Held at Elsenham Bowls Club, an outstanding success last year, not to be missed.

- If you are interested enough to pay your sub's and come along each week, then surely you shouldn't skip this one meeting?
